CONTRACT TERMS AND CONDITIONS
1. The Deposit for Standard and Enclosed shipments may be paid by, cashiers check, money order or credit card by using PayPal.com or you may call our office with your credit card information. The balance due is paid C.O.D. upon receipt of vehicle by cash, cashiers check or money order.

2. Authority to Enter Into Agreement. The vehicle owner or owner's agent (hereinafter referred to as "shipper") warrants that he/she is the registered legal owner of this vehicle, or that he/she has been duly authorized by the legal owner to enter into this agreement.
3. Agreement to Terms and Conditions. These Terms and Conditions supercede all prior oral representation of RideMovers, Inc. and constitute the entire agreement between Shipper and Ridemovers, Inc. Shipper agrees that giving shipping information and credit card information to RideMovers, Inc. via telephone constitutes verbal agreement of these Terms and Conditions. RideMovers must receive signed Terms and Condtions before proceeding with Transport agreement.
4. Our Service. Ridemovers, Inc. is an agent for you the shipper. We arrange for the transportation of your vehicle (WE do not physically move your vehicle) by finding an appropriate carrier. Our services end once the Carrier has picked up your vehicle.
5. Pickup and delivery. While every effort will be made for requested scheduling. All pick up times given are an approximation. We cannot guarantee exact dates when your vehicle will be picked up or delivered. There are many factors that affect the pick-up and delivery dates(weather, traffic, maintenance, delays, etc.) Ridemovers. Inc. will not pay for rental car fees should Shipper's actual pickup date or delivery date not meet the shipper's requested schedule.
6. Inoperable and Modified Vehicles. Not all carriers have the extra equipment for inoperable and modified vehicles. Shipper agrees to make full disclosure to Ridemovers, Inc. at the time order is placed regarding operational and any modification to the vehicle. Ridemovers, Inc. shall not be responsible for failure of mechanical or operating parts of your vehicle. If the quote given is for an operational vehicle and the order placed is for an inoperable vehicle an additional fee of $200.00 will be charged. If the shipper's vehicle is unable to be loaded or unloaded off the transport under its own power, if the brakes are insufficiant on the vehicle, or if for any reason the vehicle is found to be inoperable during pickup, transport, or delivery, Shipper will be liable for and pay a charge of $150.00, no exceptions. The carrier's minimum inoperable fee may be greater and will apply if warranted.
Shipper agrees to make full disclosure to Ridemovers, Inc. at the time order is placed regarding modifications made to the vehicle. If the quote is on a factory standard vehicle and the order placed is for a modified vehicle kit, oversized tires, dually, etc., an additional fee may apply. If a modification is found at the time of pickup, Shipper will be liable for all extra charges.
7. Door to Door Service. Typically carriers will call 8 to 12 hours before they are able to pick-up your vehicle. At this time they will arrange the exact location where the vehicle will be picked-up and delivered. Every effort is made to provide door to door service. However, circumstances such as weight restrictions, overhanging trees, narrow streets, cul-de-sacs, and/or type of carriers equipment inhibit door-to-door service. Shipper may have to arrange to meet a carrier at a legal and safe location as close as possible to the "door" in order to facilitate the delivery. Shipper should be prepared to provide clear and accurate directions to the carrier to enable the carrier to reach the pickup and delivery locations. There should be a pick-up and delivery inspection done by both the carrier and the person responsible for the vehicle. The carrier will have an inspection sheet that they will have you sign. At this time, you should do the inspection along with the carrier. No one is responsible for damages not noted on a poorly reviewed delivery receipt. These results are considered final upon signature by federal law. Make sure and review vehicle carefully to avoid issue.
8. Preparing the Vehicle for Transport. Shippers are responsible for the prep of their vehicle. The carriers are not responsible for any items or parts falling off of your vehicle during the transportation. The vehicle should be shipped with a half a tank of fuel or less. Any personal items left in the vehicle is subject to inspection by the Department of Transportation, Police, and if explosives, guns, ammunition, flammable products, major appliances, narcotices, negotiable legal papers, alcoholic beverages, money, articles of value, live pets, plants or contraband are found in vehicle they will be discarded at Shipper's expense and by any legal means possible by carrier, Federal Highway Administration, and/or Department of Transportation. Carrier is not responsible for loss or damage to any item which was installed as part of the vehicle. The carrier is not licensed to carry household and personal items and will not be responsible for any loss or citations issued due to excess weight of the vehicle due to items will be responsibility of Shipper.
9. Failure to reach Shipper for Pickup. Shipper must provide accurate and correct address and telephone numbers for pickup at the time the order is placed to avoid any added charges or delays. Shipper shall designate a person to act as their agent at the point of pickup if Shipper is for any reason uniavailable. If the Shipper is unable to be reached, the carrier reserves the right to cancel transport. If the carrier reaches Shipper and arranges a pickup time and Shipper fails to be at the designated place and time, the shipper will be responsible for paying for any dry run fee the carrier may charge. If rescheduling is necessary due to the shipper's designated contact failing to meet with the driver, a One hunderd dollar ($100) rescheduling fee will be assessed.
10. Failure to Reach Shipper for Delivery. Shipper must provide correct and accurate address and telephone numbers for delivery at the time the order is placed to avoid any delays or additional fees. Shipper shall designate a person to act as the shipper's agent at the point of delivery if Shipper is for any reason unavailable. The carrier will notify the shipper a minimum of 6 hours prior to the actual delivery. However, the shipper or agent must be available the entire day for delivery. In the event the shipper is unable to be reached by the carrier in a minimum of six hours prior to the anticipated delivery time, the carrier reserves the right to take the vehicle to a terminal at the expense of the shipper. If a carrier reaches Shipper and arranges a delivery time and shipper fails to reach the designated place and time, the shipper will be responsible for any dry run fees or rescheduling fees due.
11. Damages and Required Documentation. Neither RideMovers, Inc. nor carriers are liable for damage caused by leaking fluids, freezing, exhaust systems, Acts of God, or flying objects from the road or the sky. In the event a vehicle is damaged during transport, the carrier's insurance is the primary insurance. Shipper agrees to fully inspect vehicle prior to pickup and delivery and denote any damages on the carrier's bill of lading/condition report BEFORE the driver has left the location. Damage must be properly noted while the driver is still there, regardless of time of day or dirty condition of the vehicle. Signing the carrier's bill of lading at the destination without specific notation of damage shall be evidence of satisfactory delivery of the vehicle.
12. Claims for Damages. Shipper's vehicle will be transported by a trucking company and the carrier actually transporting the vehicle shall be liable for any loss or damage claims arising from transport. Shipper agrees to release and hold harmless RideMovers, Inc from any damage or loss claims. Upon request, RideMovers, Inc. will furnish Shipper name, address, phone number and Certificate of Insurance. All claims are to be submitted directly to the carrier withing 7 days of receiving the vehicle unless otherwise noted on the carriers bill of lading. Any claims for damages not noted on the bill of lading/condition report will not be honered by the carrier's insurance company. Department of Transport regulations require that all claims be filed in writing and all tariffs be paid in full before claims are processed; therefore, Shipper agrees he/she will not charge back a credit card or stop a check to offset a dispute for damage claims. RideMovers, Inc. will support you in filing claim against a carrier should a problem occur, but in no way will RideMovers, Inc. accept responsibility for any negligence of the carrier.
14. Payment of Broker Fee. Shipper agrees to pay RideMovers, Inc. a broker fee of $200.00, unless otherwise noted at the time of booking. Shipper understands this fee is included in the total price quoted for the automobile transport. Shipper agrees he/she will not seek to charge back a credit card or stop payment to offset a dispute for damage claims or for failure to receive desired refund (refunds are granted according to the terms specified below).
15. Payment of Carrier Fee. Shipper agrees to pay carrier the price quoted of vehicle as well as any additional charges assessed according to these Terms and Conditions. It is the responsibility of the Shipper to verify the quoted transport amount. Shipper must pay COD cash or Cashiers Check prior to driver releasing vehicle. Shipper agrees he/she will not withhold payment to offset a dispute or damage claim.
16. Order Cancellation. Shipper has a right to cancellation with a full refund of the broker fee if: (1) It has been at least 14 business days from the 1st Available pickup date given at the time order was placed and; (2) the vehicle has not been dispatched to a carrier by RideMovers, Inc.. NO EXCEPTIONS. Prior to vehicle shipment, RideMovers, Inc. shall have the right to cancel Shipper's order at any time and in such cases, RideMovers, Inc. shall return to Shipper any payment already made by shipper. All cancellations must be in writing.
